About Me

I’m a graphic designer, with a passion for illustration, attempting to be a one-man, comic-creating dynamo. Here you’ll find examples of my portfolio, random sketches and information about my current projects. You will also learn that I draw, read, write, blog, tweet, play video games, review things, collect stuff, rant, rave and brag.

I have a beautiful wife, Laura, a new baby daughter, a spastic Corgi named Gordie and a collection of about 300 Transformers hanging out in my house. I like sports, tech, games, cartoons, movies, books and geek culture. Let’s just say that this site is a place for me to keep it all in order.

I could take up a lot of real estate on this page talking about how I want create something that will live on forever. Or, I could waste a lot of it talking about how Half Life 2 and Street Fighter have changed my life. All I can say is that I’ve tried very hard to be a lot of different things in my life. I’ve enjoyed sports and athletics, science and mathematics (except for that nasty Chemistry), architecture and music, but nothing has been a bigger part of my life than art.

Growing up, I’ve always wanted to make cartoons. I wanted to work for Disney, and now Pixar. I want to create and inspire. This road has led me into many different fields, but I always end up in the same place: illustration. I love designing and building websites, but my passion is for drawing. If all I ever manage to do with my life artistically is get this lowly graphic novel out of my head and onto paper, I can be satisfied.
